Painting Landscapes with Oils:

Stretched canvas - your choice of size, Tim paints on a 36x48. For advanced students he recommends Linen canvases from Winsor-Newton

Oil paints in your colors for landscape - Tim uses Winsor Newton

Palette knives

Brushes - Tim uses long handles brushes by Winsor Newton and Da Vinci

Mediums that Tim uses:

• Odorless mineral spirits from Lowes, Ace, or Home Depot

• Compagnie de Provence Savon Marseille Palm Soap Cube - 400g, made to clean hands and brushes

• Cold wax

• Safflower Oil

• Poppy Oil

• Walnut Oil
