Electric griddle with a thermostat. If your griddle doesn't have a thermostat, you will need a surface thermometer that will sit flat on your griddle. IMPORTANT: Instead of a griddle and a pan, you can use a small crockpot as long as it can be kept at a reliable 160-200 degrees.

120 and 220 grit sand paper

Heat tool

Raw Umber acrylic paint or your favorite dark neutral

Water cup

Paper towels or rag

Wet Wipes or wet rags

Plastic scraper [as above] or old credit card

Ruler or scissors

Collected minerals from adventures [natural pigments]

Mortar and Pestle - heavy duty cast iron for pigments

Gum arabic

Slab of marble

Large Glass Muller

Wintergreen or Clove Essential Oil

Glass or plastic dropper

Full or Half Pans for Watercolors

Palette knife

Watercolor paper

Water brushes or watercolor brushes with water cup

Optional for shaving parmesan: Microplaner

Mortar and Pestle for pesto

Wicker Basket for seed gathering/storing

Branches from a tree such as Maple, Birth, or Oak

Yard clippers [to cut branch]

Twine or cotton string

Yarn in various textures and colors such as wool, or synthetic yarn

Synthetic Yarn in 3-4oz. weight

Number 6-6.5 crochet hook
